On August 24, 2019, at the election and establishment meeting of the Fifth Committee of the orthopedic branch of the Chinese Medical Association held in Dalian, Professor Zhang Yingze, an academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and our hospital, was elected as the chairman of the Fifth Committee of the orthopedic branch of the Chinese Medical Association.

This election is in accordance with the relevant provisions of the articles of association of the Chinese Medical Association, the regulations on the management of secondary institutions of the Chinese Medical Association and the regulations on the management of orthopedic branch of the Chinese Medical Association. After being recommended by the general Preparatory Committee, the Chinese Medical Association will vote on the spot after extensive consultation. It is reported that 174 people should be elected in this election, and 144 people actually, which meets the requirement of electing more than 2/3 members.
